An English gilt copper and tortoiseshell pair cased verge pocket watch, circa 1760. Full plate fire gilt movement, fusee and chain, worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates, pierced and engraved cock, silver regulator disc, plain three-arm steel balance, blued steel spiral hairspring.
White enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic five-minute numerals and steel beetle & poker hands. The outer case is covered in green tortoiseshell decorated with gilt pique pins.
