Lépine with very detailed enamel painting on the back
–
An exquisite Swiss 18 Carat enamel pocket/pendant watch with magnifying glass painting on the back, signed by Edouard Geiser most likely a member of the Geiser Frères in la Chaux-de Fonds, Switzerland, circa 1840. The dust cover of the open faced case is signed and the enamel dial with Breguet steel hands is in very good condition, further adding to the watch’s value. The movement has a cylinder escapement is also indicative of the watch’s high quality and precision. The key winder is a testament to the watch’s vintage nature, as it was a common feature in watches of this era.
