A fine 14 carat pink gold hunting cased keyless quarter repeating pocket watch with triple date calendar, chronograph and moon phases. Made by Tempora Switzerland circa 1905.
Four body case, massive, polished, very finely engraved on both sides with a floral motif and a dragon, hinged gold cuvette engraved with dedication details from 1880’s and 1890’s fairs.
White enamel dial with painted Roman numerals, outer minute and 1/5^th second track with 5-second Arabic markers, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the date, apertures for days of the week, the months and the phases of the moon. Blued steel spade hands.
Frosted gilt movement with 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a push-button in the band, chronograph activated by a push-button at 2 o’clock. Case numbered.
