Grayhurst, Harvey & Co. English watchmaker, jeweller, goldsmith and silversmith.
Grayhurst Harvey & Co was founded as Alston & Grayhurst jewellers and watch shop in Aldhurst, London. The shop was not far from the “Blue Boar Inn”. The logo for the company was the symbol of the Blue Boar (Blue Boar). And is still used today by the Harvey and Gore company. Alston & Grayhurst later became P. & M. Grayhurst’s, Hardwaremen & Watchmakers, based at Strand 65 in London (near the Adelphi). Around 1810 the company was renamed Grayhurst, Harvey & Co., with business partners Michael Grayhurst (1765-1839) and James Harvey. After various changes, only James Harvey was left in the company with Robert John Harvey, first as James Harvey & Co, and then as Harvey & Co. .
