A fine and elegant Swiss, octagonal, 18K gold and enamel keyless Art Deco dress watch, circa 1925. Made for W. Turler, Berne. A polished case, the bezels and bow decorated with geometric dark blue enamel decoration, chased band. Frosted gilt dial with champleve Arabic numerals, outer minute track, and subsidiary seconds. Black pierced hands. A rhodium-plated movement, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
