Gold open faced pocket watch

An open faced quarter repeating á toc pocket watch made by the royal watchmaker Basile-Charles Le Roy in Paris, France, circa 1800. The numbered case of this watch, crafted from 18 carat gold, features French Hallmarks. The white enamel dial has Breguet hours, outer minute divisions with Arabic quarter hour numerals and moon hands. The numbered movement is equipped with a verge escapement and repeats the quarter hours.
The dial, cuvette and movement are signed.
