A very fine, large lépine with stone cylinder escapement and seconde morte, made by A. Verdiere in Paris, France, circa 1825. The numbered open faced case of this watch was crafted from 18 Carat pink gold has an engine turned back lid and the 18K gold punch. The engine turned silver dial has Roman hour numerals and very beautiful original hands. The very fine movement with temperature compensation has a stone cylinder escapement, two barrels and independent stoppable jumping seconds.
Cuvette signed and engraved with the address of the watchmaker.
