A small and elegant Swiss, 18K gold and painted on enamel, lady’s keyless pendant watch, circa 1890. A polished bezel and band engraved back cover decorated with an oval panel painted on enamel flowers on a blue ground and hinged gold cuvette with engraved inscription. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and red Arabic five-minute numerals. Blued steel spade hands. A matte gilt movement, eight jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, and an index regulator.
