Gold open faced single pusher chronograph

A fine French manual wind open faced 18 carat gold pocket watch with chronograph and 60 minute counter, made by LeCoultre, circa 1906. This watch features a mechanical movement with lever escapement and 24 rubies. It has an enamel dial displaying Arabic radial hours, an outer track for minutes and seconds with Arabic five minute and second numerals, and inner blue numerals for 24 hour display. The dial also includes a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, a 60 minute counter at 12 o’clock, gold pear shaped hands, and a central second hand for the chronograph. The 18 carat gold case bears a personalised, inscribed cuvette: William Weilbel, Souvenir, 1906, and is signed Chronographe, Compteur Instantané, 24 Rubis, Chronometre LeCoultre.
