A fine French 18 carat gold à toc quarter repeating verge watch, circa 1760.
Gold plain case, front bezel engraved. Rear bell, pusher for repetition à toc through the pendant, large lateral hinge.
White enamel dial with radial Roman hours, Arabic outer minutes and decorative gold hands. Signed fire gilt full plate movement with chain/fusee, round pillars, 2 hammers, three-arm steel balance and a fine florally engraved and pierced balance bridge with steel polished coqueret, silver regulator disc with blued steel indicator. Dial and movement signed.
