A French copper-gilt and painted on enamel pocket watch, circa 1800. Back with enamel painting, depicting a landscape with a couple in love.
White enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute track, winding aperture at two. Gilt hands. Matte gilt full-plate movement, fusee and chain, square pillars, verge escapement, pierced and engraved bridge cock with polished steel coqueret, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, silvered regulation dial with blued steel indicator.
