A fine Swiss 18K gold and painted-on enamel pendant watch, circa 1845. Attributed to Bautte Genève. A polished bezel, reeded band, the back decorated with a painted-on enamel scene of a Swiss lake view, foliate dark blue enamel border on an engraved ground and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and gold spade hands. A matte gilt movement, bar calibre, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm gold balance, blued steel flat balance spring, and an index regulator. Case punched JB.
