A rare and interesting French quarter repeating Oignon verge watch with mock pendulum in a leather-covered case, circa 1700. Full plate fire gilt movement, keywind, fire gilt and signed, with chain/fusee, Egyptian movement pillars, two hammers, mock pendulum balance, and finely engraved balance bridge.
Brass gilt case with Leather and pique pins, sound holes, rear bell and pusher for repetition via pendant.
White enamel dial with black radial Roman numerals, Arabic outer numerals and steel hands.
