An extremely rare French gold and porcelain verge pocket watch, circa 1750.
A fragile porcelain case with a handcrafted floral painting, gold mounting, opened by a jewelled pusher. White enamel dial with Roman hours alternated with jewels, Arabic five-minute numerals and the original hour hand with diamonds and replaced minute hand. Fire gilt verge movement.
