A French silver verge watch with Jacquemart figure automaton, circa 1800. This watch features a key wound mechanical movement with an openworked, chased cock and a verge escapement. The white enamel dial displays Arabic numerals, a minute track, and hands set with a rose cut diamond. The winding square is at two o’clock. The silver case features a metal bowl, radiating guilloché decoration on the back, and Jacquemarts automata on the front, showing two figures in Antique style on a blue enamel background.
