A magnificent, French silver pocket watch, repeating the hours and quarters, with striking mechanism and Jacquemart figure automaton, circa 1820.
Gilt verge movement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, 3-arm balance, silver regulation, hours and quarters repeater, and numbered No.3633. Very beautiful 2-coloured enamel dial, black Breguet numerals, black minute markers, set within outer blue enamel surround with automaton Jacquemart figures striking on two bells, blued steel Breguet style hands fitted with animated 3-coloured gold Jacks in Roman costume appearing to strike the hours and quarters. Engine-turned silver case, round, reeded band, numbered 3634, dome signed Breguet a Paris.
