A French verge pocket watch in gold and enamel case, circa 1760. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Pierced and engraved bridge cock with ruby endstone, plain three-arm steel balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial, square pillars. Winding through white enamel dial, precious stones set between the Roman and Arabic numerals, gold hands. Gold consular case, polychrome enamel scene at the back with engraving around.
