A fine and rare German 18-carat gold open faced dead centre seconds watch with regulator dial and Pouzait type slow beat lever escapement, circa 1810. Gilt finished movement, Pouzait type lever escapement and oversized balance. Gilt cuvette. White enamel dial, eccentric small hour dial with Arabic numerals, outer Arabic and baton 60 minutes indications, central seconds hand. Engine turned case, seconds hand start/stop lever in the milled band. Cuvette and dial signed case numbered and stamped OB.
