A fine German 18 carat yellow gold full hunter pocket watch made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, Dresden, circa 1900. It has a mechanical crown winding movement with a lever escapement, signed A. Lange & Söhne. The ornate silvered dial is decorated with applied gold floral scrollwork, black Roman numerals for the hours, a fine outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and blued steel Fleur de Lys hands. It is signed A. LANGE & SÖHNE GLASHÜTTE B/DRESDEN. The timepiece is housed in a round 18 carat solid yellow gold full hunter case, embossed with intricate floral decoration, featuring a fluted winding crown, a sturdy round suspension bow, and a solid 18 carat gold inner protective cuvette.
