A German 14 carat pink gold hunting cased keyless lever pocket watch made by J. Assmann Glashütte i/Sachsen, circa 1900. An engine turned cover and caseback with a sunray motif. A white enamel dial with suspended Breguet Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and pink gold Louis XV hands. A gilt brass movement, going barrel, straight line equilibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index regulator with swanneck spring and micrometric screw. Signature on the dial.
