A fine German silver and gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, circa 1915. A polished case with gold hinges and hinged silver cuvette. White enamel dial with black Breguet hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, a sunk center and gold spade hands. The frosted gilt ¾ plate movement with a straight line lever escapement, gold escape wheel and pallet fork, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and swan neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
