Gold half hunting cased pocket watch with rare winding

A heavy English 18 carat gold pocket watch with 24-hour power reserve indicator and English lever escapement, circa 1896. 2/3 Plate movement, gold screw bimetallic compensation balance, free-sprung blued balance spring, three screwed chatons, engraved balance cock with diamond endstone.
White enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial at 6, power reserve dial at 12.
Gold polished half hunter case with case maker’s punch mark PW. Push pendant to open front. To wind the watch push button at 11 o’clock, to set hands push button at 1 o’clock.
Dial and movement signed, movement signed: R.H. Halford & Sons 43 Fenchurch Street London.
