Gold quarter repeating watch with detent escapement

A very rare English yellow gold quarter repeating open faced watch with helical hairspring and detent escapement, circa 1862, gilt full plate detent escapement movement, diamond endstone, jeweled, free sprung helical hairspring, repeating on two gongs by two hammers.
White enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial, 18k yellow gold case, slide to the band at 2, the back engine turned with central reserve, dial and movement signed, case hallmarked for London 1862 and maker’s mark FM.
