A charming Swiss 18 carat pink gold minute repeating hunting cased keyless pocket watch, circa 1895. A solid, polished case, entirely engraved with foliate pattern. Hinged gold cuvette, glazed gold-rimmed cover over the movement. Foliate engraved silver dial with painted radial Roman numerals, subsidiary sunk seconds dial, outer applied gold foliate border, the centre with flowers and birds. Rhodium-plated movement, 35 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial signed, case numbered.
