A Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and pearl set Louis XV style open faced pocket watch, circa 1888. Retailed by Tiffany & Co. Nickel lever movement, wolf’s tooth winding. Engraved gold cuvette. White enamel dial, blue Roman numerals and Arabic outer ring. Case back with translucent red enamel design painted with small flowers, the case band similarly decorated, both bezels and bow set with pearls. Case, dial, cuvette and movement signed by retailer. With an Extract from the Archives confirming all decorative elements and the date of sale in 1888.
