A large unique French silver open faced pocket watch with early straight line lever escapement, circa 1810. Experimental gilt movement, bar calibre with going barrel, early straight line lever escapement without draw of Robin type, plain three-arm balance, bimetallic compensation curb on the regulator. Signed gilt cuvette. White enamel dial, Breguet numerals and blued steel moon hands. Engine turned case. Cuvette and dial signed.
