A fine English gold open faced keyless chronometer pocket watch with tourbillon and 24 hour reserve, circa 1904. Gilt half plate movement, one-minute Nicole Nielsen type equidistant three-arm tourbillon carriage, lateral lever escapement and Guillaume balance. Gold cuvette. Silver matt dial, champlevé Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, blued steel moon hands, up and down indication for power reserve. 18 Carat polished case with moulded bezels. Dial and movement signed, hallmarked London 1904, case maker’s mark SS.
