A fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced chronograph watch, circa 1925. Nickel lever movement, 27 jewels. Silvered dial, Roman numerals, outer ring calibrated for chronograph, subsidiary dials for constant seconds and 30 minute register and blued steel moon hands. Horseshoe form bow, case back engraved with a horseshoe, snap case back. Case and movement signed ‘European Watch and Clock Co Inc France’, case with hand stamped Cartier reference numbers, dial signed ‘Cartier’.
