Very fine and rare English gold and enamel open faced manually wound centre seconds duplex watch made for the Chinese Market, circa 1815. Blued steel mirror polished Chinese caliber, duplex escapement, diamond endstone. Engraved gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and centre seconds. Large case, polychrome champlevé enamel floral decorated bezel, rim, pendant and bow, the reverse centred by a polychrome enamel scene depicting ‘The Reprimand’. Enamel in the manner of Richter. Cuvette signed and numbered.
