A French gold key wind pocket watch with enamel decoration by Charles LeRoy, Paris, circa 1790. Gilt full plate fusee verge movement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, silver regulation. White enamel dial, black Arabic numerals, black outer minute divisions, winding aperture at 2, gilt beetle and poker hands. Polished consular open face case, blue enamel panel to reverse with grisaille pastoral scene, foliate border. Dial and movement signed.
