A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced lever pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1907. Sold on October 28th, 1907. Jewelled keyless lever movement. Hinged cuvette with inscription. Gold dial with Arabic hours, outer minute divisions, an engine turned center, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued spade hands. Chased case back, bezel, band and bow, the back features scrolling foliate and acorns, inhabited by two winged lions, a monogram WRC within a central cartouche for the former owner William R. Chedsey. Dial signed, case and movement signed and numbered. Comes with an Extract from the Archives.
