A Swiss gold open faced keyless, lever, gentleman’s pocket watch “Chronometre Royal”, circa 1915. Manual winding frosted, gilt lever jewelled bridge movement with cut bimetallic screw compensation balance, wolf’s teeth winding wheels, chatoned centre wheel, index spring fine adjusting device and swan neck regulator. 18 Carat gold hinged engraved cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute rail track, subsidiary seconds and gold spade hands. 18 Carat gold case, engine turned sun ray patterned back with cartouche at the bottom.
