A Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1890, made for the South American market. Nickel finished lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two steel gongs with two polished steel hammers. Engraved gold cuvette. Very decorative silvered dial engraved with scrolls, embellished and surmounted by tri-colour gold floral motifs to the outer chapter and centre field, blued steel hands and small seconds. Highly decorative engraved case, minute repeating activated by a slide in the band. Case, cuvette, dial and movement signed.
