A heavy English 18 carat gold pair cased key wind pocket watch with Massey type IV lever escapement, Chester Hallmark for 1815 to outer, 1816 to inner case. Gilt full plate English Massey type IV detached lever movement, 3 armed balance, diamond end stone. Gilt dial, Roman numerals, applied three colour gold floral decoration to centre and gilt spade hands. Sea shell cast open faced consular case, shell motif to band and bow. Case stamped T.H J.H. and movement signed.
