A French silver key wind automaton pocket watch depicting the Battle of Arcola, circa 1810. Gilt full plate fusee verge movement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, silver regulation. White enamel dial, painted military scene commemorating Battle of Arcola 16th November 1795, won by Bonaparte, Bataille bei Arcola geivonnen von Bonaparte d 16ten Novbr 1795, eccentric dial with black Arabic hours, outer minute markers, winding aperture below 4 o’clock, aperture below 6 with automaton soldiers marching across the bridge. Polished open faced consular case. Case stamped CHPG.
