A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold minute repeating keyless pocket watch, circa 1895. The entire case is hand-engraved in a floral and leaf motif, the front cover centred by a cartouche with an engraved monogram. Transparent inner back, engraved hinged gold cuvette. Satiné silver dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, floral engraving at centre and rim, subsidiary seconds dial and gold Louis XV hands. Nickel-plated movement, 23 jewels, wolf-tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Case numbered.
