A large Swiss, 18K yellow gold hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1888. Accompanied by a fitted box and original certificate of origin and further accompanied by a copy of the Patek Philippe registers confirming the sale to Fredenhagen Buenos Aires. A polished case, hand engraved front and back cover, gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary sunk seconds dial and blued steel spade hands. Rhodium plated movement, straight-line lever escapement, 18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, gold wheel train, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, Wilmot’s patented micrometric cam regulator. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.
