A gold and enamel full hunter cased watch with Czarist eagle in original box with high quality 14 carat gold watch chain with Freemason and predator tooth pendants, made by Pavel Buhre, the Czarist court watchmaker in St Petersburg, Russia, circa 1901. This watch features a numbered full hunter case with three lids, all crafted from 14 carat gold, the enamelled Tsar’s eagle on the engine turned front lid, an inscribed cuvette Pavel Buhre in the service of his Majesty and an engine turned back lid. The white enamel dial has Arabic 5 minute numerals, Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The movement features a very fine anker chronometer escapement, wolf’s toothing and Geneva striping decoration.
The cuvette and box are signed.
