A Swiss gold, enamel and diamond set beetle watch, circa 1890. Oval gilt cylinder movement. Gold cuvette. Concealed white enamel dial with Roman numerals. Beetle form case, hinged wings with translucent blue enamel over an engine turned ground highlighted with diamonds, chased and engraved head with diamond decoration, reverse realistically chased and engraved.
