Extremely fine, rare and ultra thin open faced watch by Cartier

An extremely fine and rare ultra thin French rose gold and enamel open faced watch, circa 1905. Manual winding gilt lever movement, jeweled. Two-tone guilloché silvered dial, Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and outer minute track. The bezel with white enamel, the case back with translucent purple enamel over engine turning, the center with a green enamel foliate decoration, large outer white enamel reserve with green enamel foliate decorations and blue enamel circles around white enamel floral designs, snap on case back. Dial signed Cartier, case hand stamped with Cartier reference numbers. Accompanied by matching 18 carat gold, white enamel, pearl and sapphire set chain.
