A small French 18 Carat yellow gold and enamel open faced Rococo Louis XV pendant watch, Circa 1760. Round shaped case with green flinqué enamel case back, in the center an oval painted on enamel scene showing a lover flattering a beautiful young woman, … whispering sweet nothings!, on the inside of the case back painted multicoloured flowers. White enamel dial with radial Roman hours, outer minutes track with Arabic five minute numerals and gold Louis XV hands. Gilded brass full plate movement, fusee and chain, verge escapement, key winding, gilt brass monometallic balance, blued steel flat hairspring, pierced and engraved gilded continental cock.
