A small French 18 carat yellow gold and enamel open faced keywind pocket watch from the late 18th century. This watch features a keywind cock movement with a verge escapement. The white enamelled dial displays Roman numeral hour markers, an outer minute track with Arabic numerals at five minute intervals, a winding square at 2 o’clock, and gold beetle hands. The case is decorated with a polychrome enamel painting depicting a female figure and a floral scene.
