A small Swiss 18 carat gold and pearl-set open faced cylinder pocket watch, circa 1890. Keyless gilt bar movement with going barrel, plain cock with polished steel regulator, plain three-arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring, polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with gilt minute markings, Arabic numerals and pierced gilt hands. The case back, bezels and bow set with split pearls. Maker’s mark SJG in an oval.
