A Small, key-winding, decorative Swiss gold and enamel hunting cased pocket watch Circa 1840-1850.
Round-shaped 18-carat yellow gold and enamel case. Case back and cover engraved in taille-douce (fine cut) with vermicelli motif and royal blue enamelled foliages; cuvette engraved with the dedication From E to J. / August 1851. Engraved dial, gilded brass movement with going barrel, cylinder escapement, monometallic balance (probably in gold), and blued steel flat hairspring. Dial and movement signed.
