Almost new pocket watch
–
An almost new heavy anker chronometer, made by Louis Grisel in la Chaux-De-Fonds, Switzerland, circa 1890. The case of this watch is crafted from 14 carat gold and is engine turned on both sides with an empty cartouche on the front lid, a numbered cuvette inscribed with la Chaux-de-Fonds and factory glazing. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The movement has a very fine Swiss anker chronometer escapement with a chronometer balance.
Cuvette and dial are signed.
