Gold anker chronometer pocket watch

A heavy splendour hunting cased anker chronometer pocket watch made in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1881. This watch features a numbered textured case with three lids, all crafted from 14 carat gold, the front has a central oval with a dated and monogrammed cartouche on a guilloché ground surrounded by engraved decoration, the back is decorated to match featuring a star in the center. The numbered cuvette is inscribed with technical details and has engraved decoration on an engine turned ground. The numbered white enamel dial has black Roman hours, an outer minute track with gold painted Arabic five minute numerals, inner red Arabic 24 hour markers, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The numbered fine quality movement features a Geneva anker chronometer escapement, chronometer balance and screwed gold chatons.
Dial, case, cuvette and movement have matching numbers.
