An unusual caliber Jones watch in a gold splendor case Pocket watch, made by the International Watch Company in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, circa 1873. The case of this watch was crafted from 14 carat gold and features engine turned and engraved lids on both sides, an empty cartouche in the center of the front lid and a floral decoration in the center of the back lid. The enamel dial features an outer minutes and hours track with Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and fine steel hands. The numbered caliber Jones type S movement is equipped with a lever escapements
