Chronometre pocket watch with factory glazing

A heavy gold full hunter cased watch with chronometer escapement, made by Gabus Guinand in Brennets, Switzerland, circa 1890. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from 14 carat gold in à goutte shape, is engine turned on both sides, has a monogram on the front and the cuvette is marked Chonometre. The white enamel factory glazed dial has Arabic five minute numerals, Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and blued steel hands. The factory glazed very fine Swiss movement has a chronometer escapement with rocker, screwed gold chatons, a cylindrical hairspring and a gold gear train.
Cuvette and dial are signed.
