An interesting 14 K gold IWC hunting cased watch with double signature, J. Rauschenbach and C. Wehrle, circa 1903. A 14 K gold, punched, all three lids solid gold, dome with inscription “International Watch Co, C. Wehrle”, gilt lever movement, large bimetallic screw balance, blued Breguet hairspring, swan-neck fine adjusting device, screwed chatons, rubies, main plate/bridge punched “JWC”, polished steel screws, polished winding wheels with sunburst decoration, crown winding, time setting by slide on bezel, original silvered dial inscribed “International Watch Co, J. Rauschenbach”, black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands, dial engine turned, very good condition, case engine turned front and back, case and dial in good condition, very solid quality, collector’s watch, from 1903.
