A very fine and elegant Swiss, 18K gold, enamel and pearl keyless pendant watch, circa 1890. The back cover is overlaid with translucent red enamel over sunray guilloche with a fold and pearl set border, the bezel the same, and the front and back on a single hinge connected to the movement. Red translucent dial enamel over sunray guilloche with Arabic numerals, outer minute, subsidiary seconds. Gilt Louis XV hands. A rhodium-plated movement, 3/4 plate, 12 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, split bimetallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator.
